Visions for Sipa's future

Three candidates for the presidency of the Software Industry Promotion Agency (Sipa) debated the future of software development in Thailand before an industry audience last week.

The debate was hosted by six software industry associations to give the candidates an opportunity to share their visions with industry stakeholders.

The associations invited all six candidates for Sipa's presidency to the event, but only three turned up: the former first director of Software Park Thailand Rom Hiranpruk, the managing director of SSC Solutions Trairat Chatkaew and Sipa's acting president Wuttipong Pongsuwan. …
