There's a chance on Tuesday, May 11 to discover the views King Henry III enjoyed from Nottingham Castle.
Henry, who reigned from 1216 to 1272, ordered three windows to be made in the castle, instructing his masons that two were to face the Trent Valley and the third to look towards Nottingham.
To find out more go along to the Central Library to hear a talk from 7pm to 8.45pm on Medieval Nottingham by Dr Trevor Foulds.
The free event has been arranged to coincide with the city's Robin Hood celebrations.
