OLONGAPO CITY Councilor John Carlos "JC" G. delos Reyes is undaunted by the gargantuan task of convincing the people to catapult him to the presidency through a values formation platform to address social, economic and political ills.

At 40, the neophyte national candidate told a roundtable discussion with BusinessWorld that if elected president in next month's elections, his first executive order would introduce a values formation program in all schools and government agencies.

"Before you can have a good economy, you have to restore the moral order, you have to restore the social order, you have to ensure peace and order. You can only do that by really propagating and asserting the values that we hold so dearly," he said.
