China's Maipu to help Jalenas in rollout.

JALUR Lebar Nasional Sdn Bhd (Jalenas) has signed a strategic partnership with China-based Maipu Communication Technology Co Ltd, to provide high technology products, services and finance to the Pahang state-led initiative.

Maipu is a professional supplier of Internet protocol network equipment and application solutions.

Jalenas aims to be the nation's first "open access" fibre to the home network. It is wholly owned by High Speed Broadband Technology Sdn Bhd, which in turn is partly owned by Pahang Technology Resources Sdn Bhd, a Pahang state government …
