PLANNERS at a district council are expected to support proposals for a GBP38m bypass, aimed at tackling congestion and improving road safety for three communities in Hambleton.
A proposed 4.8-mile relief road for Bedale, Aiskew and Leeming Bar won Government backing at the start of the month, a major hurdle in the planning process.
The scheme will now go before the development management committee at Hambleton District Council on Thursday, when councillors will be asked to confirm the application has support.
