CONSISTENT Goldschatz looks the one to beat in the S$350,000 (RM810,000) Queen Elizabeeth II Cup, a Group 2 event over 2000m (Race 7, 9.30pm) at Kranji tonight.

The six-year-old New Zealand gelding by Pins has eight wins, six seconds and five thirds in 30 outings to date. He chalked up his eighth success, which was also his fifth straight win when he beat Breadwinner by half-a-length in a Group 3 event over 2000m in good going in February.

Last time out, Goldschatz ran third to Powerful Ruler in a Kranji Stakes A event over 1800m in yielding going after being tightened in the concluding stages of the race and was only a neck and half-a-length behind the winner.
