Latino students choosing distant colleges.(NEWSWATCH)

In a change of cultural traditions, more Latinos are choosing to attend college farther from home.

In 1975, only 46% of college-bound Latinos went more than 50 miles away from home. Today that number is nearly 59%. The percentage of white students going away to school has remained unchanged at about 60%.
