Press Trust of IndiaShillong, 20 April: Mr Mukul Sangma was today sworn in as Meghalaya Chief Minister in the fourth change of guard in two years after a revolt by ruling Congress MLAs forced his predecessor Mr D D Lapang out of the top post. United Democratic Party leader Mr B M Lanong was sworn-in as deputy chief minister while his party colleague Mr J A Lyngdoh and Independent MLA Mr A T Mondol also took the oath of office administered by Governor Mr R S Mooshahary at the Raj Bhavan.
