Pierre Jourdan draws a good gate DAVID MOLLET Racing Editor TOP three-year-old Pierre Jourdan, who will be the star attraction at next week's Champions Challenge meeting at Turffontein, has drawn well at barrier three for the R1,5m SA Derby.

Trainer Gary Alexander will be delighted that his charge has drawn a good gate as the son of Parade Leader had to overcome a wide berth in the recent SA Classic. That victory has resulted in Pierre Jourdan's owners anticipating a big payday on April 24. A Derby win would see them collect the R2m Triple Crown bonus.
