I THINK POLITICIANS FROM RIVAL PARTIES now accept that Noynoy Aquino of the Liberal Party will be the next president. That can be gleaned from the way stalwarts of the administrations Lakas-Kampi party are jumping to the LP. Politicians are like ratsin more ways than one. They know when a party is sinking, and so they jump before the sinking party sucks them under.

There will be more defections from Lakas-Kampi to the LP as the election campaign winds up. Politicians always want to be with the winner. Thats how many of them survive through the years.

It is clear why rats, er, politicians, are deserting GMAs party. She is the most hated President, barring none, in the history of the Philippines. Being associated with her is a kiss of death in an election.
