from BUSINESS LINE, April 13, 2010 Kochi, April 12 - TELK has become the first Indian company, without a multi-national tag, to successfully complete the short circuit test in the high-risk 315 MVA transformer segment, a press release from the company said.

The successful test was carried out by KEMA International Laboratory in Netherlands and has thus catapulted TELK into the league of multinational transformer manufacturers which have access to international technology and testing support facilities.

TELK, which is a joint venture company between National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and the Government of Kerala, would soon receive the test report from KEMA, …
