Google has agreed to acquire video streaming startup Episodic.

The company, which specializes in broadcasting and streaming of video files as well as tracking video traffic and ad placement, announced in a posting to its homepage that Google would be purchasing it. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Episodic describes itself as a complete platform, covering everything from the streaming of the files to syndication and traffic analysis.
