Mohd Afiq eyes top three finish.

TEENAGER Mohd Afiq Ikhwan will be gunning for a top three finish in his debut at the Formula BMW Pacific Championship this weekend.

The race, which will be held as a support race for the Petronas Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix, will see the 18-year-old compete against 23 others.

This weekend's event is the first of 15 legs with the final race held as part of the annual Macau Grand Prix festival.

Mohd Afiq will be driving for Meritus GP alongside 14-year-old Colombian Oscar Tunjo, Indonesian Dustin Sofyan and Thailand's Pasin Lathourus.
