from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 (Bernama) -- ACE market debutant, Oversea Enterprise Bhd expects to grow its confectionary manufacturing business, as part of an expansion strategy.

The company, which operates a restaurant chain business as well as confectionary manufacturing, made its debut at 25.5 sen today, a 2.5 sen premium over its offer price of 23 sen with 5,000 lots traded.

Its Group Managing Director Yu Soo Chye said the manufacturing business, which currently complements the restaurant undertaking, contributed 16 percent of group revenue in the financial year ended Dec 31, 2009.
