SIXTEEN newly-qualified teachers are celebrating making the grade at Tollbar Business and Enterprise College.

The teachers were presented with their General Teaching Council Certificates for Induction by the college's principal, David Hampson.

Maths teacher Steven Batts was the youngest member of staff at Tollbar when he qualified when he was 22. He attended Whitgift School and the University of Hull before joining Tollbar.
