Crafted of machined aluminum alloy and carbon fiber with MIL-spec wire, IM-1 sensor features MEMS core containing 3 accelerometers and 3 gyro sensors for measuring movements and rotations in all directions. CAN bus output is rated up to 1 Mbps, and RS232 serial output is also available. While angular rate gyro precision is 0.05[degrees]/s, accelerometer precision is 0.003 g. Design, temperature compensated from -40 to +85[degrees]C, is optimized for bias stability and axis orthogonality.
