Red Pepper Journalists Charged Over Kasubi Stories.

Three journalists attached to the Red Pepper Publications were last week charged with publication of false stories about the Kasubi fire.

Mr Ben Byabaraha, the publication's news editor, Mr John Taremwa, a reporter and Mr Darlton Kaweesa, a sub editor were charged with sedition at Nakawa Chief Magistrate's Court.

The trio appeared before Chief Magistrate, Deo Ssejjemba and denied the case.

They were, however, released on non-cash bail of Shs5 million upon presenting seven sureties who were each bonded at Shs1.5 million each.
