Section: General News - Mr. Panu Uthairat, the Director of the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center (the Center) said that the Center is now working on implementing its Development Project of 2009 - 2012 for the southern border provinces adopted under the Cabinet Resolution of 7 April 2009. The Cabinet Resolution establishes the Committee for the development of five border provinces. The Committee is chaired by the Prime Minister, while the Working Committee is chaired by Mr. Suthep Thaugsuban, Deputy Prime Minister. The Committee is working on raising the average rate of incomes per household from 64,000 baht per year to 120,000 baht per year. In addition, it will be …
