Section: General News - Thailand and Brunei Darussalam agree to push ahead agricultural ties and the Thai Halal business in Brunei.

Minister of Industry and Primary Resources of Brunei, Pehin Dato Haji Yahya, today paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Theera Wongsamut during his official visit to Thailand from 21-26 March 2010.

The two Ministers agreed to start rice cooperation. Mr Pehin stated that his country held a plan to develop its native rice production and hoped for higher productivity. The Minister asked for rice experts to launch a training course in Brunei on pre and post harvest …
