OW Yao Han was hoping to nail at least one title in his last Asian Junior Championship outing. But it was not to be and he ended up with two runner-up medals instead.

Yao Han started the day having to settle for a silver medal without even lifting his racquet in the mixed doubles as his partner Lai Pei Jing, who sprained her ankle in Saturday's semi-finals, did not recover in time for yesterday's match.

In the men's doubles, Yao Han-Yew Hong Kheng, the top seeds, were the overwhelming favourites against South Korea's Choi Seung Il-Kang Ji Wook.
