HUNDREDS of Itsekiri, Ijaw and Urhobo natives in Warri metropolis yesterday stage a peaceful protest against the management of Product and Pipeline Marketing Company (PPMC), a subsidiary of NNPC, for non-payment of compensation.
They also said they were protesting against failure of the company to provide relief materials to them, following last June's oil spillage from a sunken oil vessel, S.J. Amazing at the NNPC jetty at Jalla, Warri, Delta state.
