Richard J. "Dick" Reddecliff, 67, of Sarasota, formerly of Johnstown, Pa., died March 19, 2010.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Toale Brothers Funeral Hom</IL>es, Colonial Chapel.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Caroline (Blickenstaff) Reddecliff; a daughter, Gwendolyn Denise Whitely; and a son-in-law, Marty Boyd.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Vonelle (Griffin) Reddecliff of Sarasota; sons Thomas Wayne Reddecliff of Sarasota and Charlie Paul (Cindy) Mills of Alapaha, Ga.; daughters Paula Jeannie (Richard) Luke of Tifton, Ga., Phyllis Boyd of Lenox, Ga., and Karen (Dennis) Varnadoe of Brunswick, Ga.; and a son-in-law, Earl Whitley of Nashville, Ga. He is also survived by sisters Janice (John) Johnson of Marion Center, Pa., and Sharon (Ken) Hahn of Friedens, Pa.; and brothers John (Jenny) Reddecliff of Great Britian and Dennis (Natalie) Reddecliff of Titusville; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and special aunts and uncles Gladys Eberhardt of Johnstown, Lois (Roy) Hoskins of Cleveland, William (Sally) Reddecliff of Johnstown, Pa., and Jack (Rose) Blickenstaff of Bradenton.

Richard was in the navy and served in the Cuban Crisis. He was an avid golfer.

He retired from Sarasota County after 33 years of service. After retirement, he worked as a ranger for Bobby Jones Golf Complex. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to TideWell Hospice Inc.

Josephine D. "Jojo" Brady, 82, of Sarasota, formerly of Buffalo, N.Y., died March 21, 2010.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at National Cremation and Burial Society, Sarasota.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara of Columbus, Ohio, and Leann of Sarasota; a son, Scott of Sarasota; two sisters, Delores Paul of Sarasota and Beverly Gueli of Sarasota; and three grandchildren,

Ashley, Tyler and Ethen.

Oct. 19, 1939 - March 22, 2010

Sylvia C. Brain, 70, of Sarasota, died March 22, 2010.

A memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, 1201 North Beneva Road. Following service there will be a celebration of life.

Survivors include daughters Chris Sims, Jackie Hamel and Kim Jenkins, all of Saraosta.

She is also survived by grandchildren Donald Gross, Kendall Jenkins, Casey Gross, Bailey and Cassidy Hamel and Sarah and Jarrett Jenkins.
