from THE JAKARTA POST -- WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24, 2010 JAMBI, Jambi: Heavy downpours for the last few days in Jambi have caused floods in the two regencies of Kerinci and Sarolangun, inundating hundreds of houses and other public facilities including schools and paralyzing the people's activities.

In Kerinci, the floods are reported to have submerged the four subdistricts between 25 centimeters to 60 centimeters deep.
