Postal company eyes monetary services.

from THE JAKARTA POST -- WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24, 2010 State postal company PT Pos Indonesia is aiming for 35 percent of its revenue this year to come from monetary services.

The company's managing di-rector, I Ketut Mardjana, said of Rp 3 trillion (US$300 million) of the company's target revenue, Rp 1 trillion would be derived from monetary services.

The target revenue from monetary services this year had risen compared to previous years: 31 percent in 2009 and 28 percent in 2008.

"To meet the target revenue, 57 percent of the revenue will come from mailing services, 8 percent from logistics and 35 percent from monetary services," Mardjana said.
