The Isle of Wight Council decided on 9 February to withdraw its proposals to discontinue the three schools named above. The Council has in formed the Office of the Schools Adjudicator that it is its view that, in the light of the withdrawal of the closure proposals, the related Notice of a proposal to establish a new school by a competition is also effectively withdrawn.
