BASEBALL: He raps a pair of home runs in loss to the Marlins

When B.J. Upton is going well at the plate, many of his hits are to right-center and right field.

Saturday against the Florida Marlins, Upton hit two home runs, one to right-center and one to right field.

That is a good sign.

"Very important," Rays manager Joe Maddon said. "That's always been one of his biggest strong points. When he's hitting the ball effectively to that side, he's hitting the ball well to left-center. Those were really good at-bats."
