from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 (Bernama) -- Since taking over as prime minister nearly two years ago, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's overtures towards the Indian community has sent the right signals.

Following in the footsteps of his father, Tun Abdul Razak Hussein -- the nation's second prime minister -- Najib is seen as taking "radical" steps to win the hearts and minds of the 1.8 million Malaysian Indian population.

His latest was the two-day visit to TamilNadu, the origin of more than 80 per cent of Malaysian Indians, meeting leaders there with ease, despite the bad publicity about the living condition and status of Malaysian …
