from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28 (Bernama) -- The Media must highlight more programmes related to awareness of abuse to educate the public said Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim.

He said it was not only the responsibility of the government and private TV stations but the print media, magazines or any time of medium should highlight such programmes.

"We will increase more of such programmes. It is about time for newspapers and other mediums to play a role apart from RTM and TV3," he told reporters launching Jom Heboh 2010 at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil here tonight.
