from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28 (Bernama) -- Public indifference towards what goes on in their neighbourhood is rapidly becoming a contributing factor to increasing crime, such as abuse, which caused the death of three-year-old Syafia Humairah Sahari on Friday.

Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil said the community should be alert of their surroundings and neighbourhood to prevent such cases from recurring.
