from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KOTA KINABALU, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- MCA will continue with its efforts to see students from Chinese independent schools holding Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) qualifications gain entry in public universities, said its president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat.

"To date, what I can say is it is still premature to make conclusive remarks, but suffice to say this definitely has been brought up for discussion and has been explored.

"The reason being since many of our UEC students in fact are studying abroad with their UEC results and many of them have proven their worth ... So I think it would be logical for us to consider …
