Cranes coach Robert Williamson has turned down a request by winger Stephen Bengo to be included in the 20-man squad due in Mwanza for an international friendly.

The CECAFA champions will take on Taifa Stars of Tanzania at the Abed Karume stadium, Mwanza on Wednesday.

The Cranes squad leaves for Mwanza tomorrow.

The friendly, organised by the Tanzania Football Federation, will kick-off Cranes preparations for the 2012 Africa Nations Championships, an event restricted to home-based players of CAF affiliate members.
