Iran: Soltaniyeh Assures IAEA of Peaceful Nature of Iran's N. Activities.

Section: General News - Iran's Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Ali Asqar Soltaniyeh reiterated the peaceful nature of Tehran's nuclear program, and stressed that Iran's nuclear enrichment activities are merely aimed at supplying fuel for the Tehran research reactor.

"Enrichment to the purity level of 20% is just aimed at supplying fuel for the Tehran research reactor and this means that Iran is a fully responsible country," Soltaniyeh said at a technical briefing session at the IAEA headquarters in Vienna.

"We want to maintain cooperation and proper relations with the IAEA," he added.
