Telefonica O2 Ireland reached a total of 1.7 million mobile customers at end-December, a 0.8 percent decline from the year before and unchanged from the previous quarter, boosted by a 7.6 percent year-on-year jump in contract customers, which account for 40.4 percent of the mobile customer base.
