First leg of Triple Crown to be huge contest DAVID MOLLETT Racing Editor TWO trainers, Charles Laird and Gary Alexander, will travel to Turffontein tomorrow, both confident they can win the first leg of the Triple Crown which carries a R2m bonus.

Laird saddles two highly rated Aussie imports in Galileo's Galaxy and Flying Tristram in the R1m Gauteng Guineas, while Alexander will pin his hopes on Pierre Jourdan who boasts four wins in his five starts.
