NO COMPLAINTS ON POWER STEERING IN TOYOTA COROLLA MODELS, SAYS UMW TOYOTA MOTOR.
from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 (Benama) -- UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd says there are no complaints on power steering in Toyota Corolla models in Malaysia so far.
This is due to the different body and size, thus different components used as compared with models in the U.S., it said in a statement today.
"We would like to reaffirm and emphasise to our customers in Malaysia that all Toyota Corolla models sold by us are not affected by this issue," it said in response to reports that the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration was investigating power steering complaints on Toyota Corolla models in America.
