HIBS 2 ST MIRREN 1 Late Ross OG keeps Hibs flying HAPLESS St Mirren defender Jack Ross' injury time own goal spared Sol Bamba's blushes as he gift-wrapped all three points for the hosts.

Right-back Ross diverted Ian Murray's hopeful cross past goalkeeper Paul Gallacher just when it looked like the Buddies would survive a second-half onslaught.

Bamba's disappointment at exiting the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola with Ivory Coast at the quarter-final stages was compounded when he stabbed St Mirren winger Steven Robb's cross into his own net after 10 minutes.
