The Middlesex County College Foundation in New Jersey has received a $1 million gift from the Willard T.C. Johnson Foundation. The gift is structured in two parts: an outright gift of $500,000 as well as a challenge grant of $500,000. In order to earn the full challenge grant, the foundation's supporters must make new scholarship gifts or pledges, which, added together, equal $500,000 or more.
