Nordic pay-TV provider Viasat Broadcasting saw its net sales rise by 8 percent year-on-year to SEK 1.093 billion in Q4 2009. Operating income fell 4 percent from a year ago to SEK 192 million, while the operating margin was stable at 18 percent. Viasat Broadcasting's pay-TV operations in the Nordic region comprise the marketing and selling of Viasat's premium pay-TV packages on its own DTH satellite platform and third-party IPTV platforms. Viasat also distributes its 24 Viasat-branded pay-TV channels via other third party pay-TV networks.
