Mobile software management technology provider Red Bend Software announced on Wednesday it has renewed its multi-year global license agreement with mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson to provide firmware over-the-air (FOTA) updating software.

The company has also expanded its contract to include device management (DM) software, available in the new Xperia X10. No financial details were disclosed.
