CITY OF SAN FERNANDOFARM WORKERS IN Hacienda Luisita on Tuesday dared Sen. Benigno Noynoy Aquino III, Liberal Party standard-bearer, to start the agrarian reform program in the sugar estate by working for the lifting of the temporary restraining order (TRO) issued by the Supreme Court in 2005.
If Noynoy [Aquino] is serious and sincere, he should convince his family to pull out the TRO and have it lifted, said Lito Bais, chair of the United Luisita Workers Union (Ulwu), in a telephone interview.
