TWO teenage motorists have been found guilty of racing each other on one of the north-east's busiest roads.
Daniel Mackie and Dean McKay, who eventually crashed his car, were fined and banned from driving yesterday.
The men, both 19, drove dangerously, overtook other vehicles at excessive speed and took part in a road race with each other on the A90 Aberdeen-Peterhead road, near Hatton.
McKay also lost control of his car, which mounted a verge and went into a field.
They were convicted at Peterhead Sheriff Court yesterday after a two-day trial.
