UP to 20 jobs are to be created at a Tees Valley company after it beat off national competition to secure a GBP1.2m grant towards a new recycling facility.
Greenstar WES in Redcar, east Cleveland, is to develop a plant capable of handling 20,000 tonnes a year of mixed plastics such as margarine tubs, yoghurt pots, meat trays and other packaging materials from household and consumer recycling collections.
