Zambia's Chipolopolo Boys have received a heroic homecoming in Lusaka from the Orange Africa Cup of Nations in Angola where they were eliminated in the quarter-finals by Nigeria's Super Eagles.

Several football fans, including ministers, other government officials and football officials, most of whom were clad in the national colours - green, orange, black and red stripes - thronged the Lusaka International Airport to welcome the team that arrived at around 1 p.m. local time and proceeded to State House to have lunch with President Rupiah Banda.
