Section: General News - The Civil Court has agreed to freeze the sale of 33 rai of land in the Ratchadaphisek area owned by Khunying Potjaman na Pombejra, the Bangkok Post reports.

The court on January 27 approved an injunction sought by the Bank of Thailand's Financial Institutions Development Fund (FIDF), which is preparing a court case against Khunying Potjaman, the former wife of ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, seeking the return of the land. The injunction prevents her from selling four plots covering slightly over 33 rai, which she bought from the FIDF in 2003 for 772 million baht, until the matter is settled in court.
