Section: Government and Politics - Former national police chief General Seripisut Temiyavej on January 27 announced his decision to enter politics, but said he had not yet decided on which party he would job, The Nation reports.

The former top cop said told the press that he wanted to "do something for the country" after retiring in 2008.
