At long last the Attorney General, Dr Athaliah Molokomme has come out of her cocoon.

For quite sometime, the public has been debating the spate of extra-judicial floggings in Mochudi ostensibly carried out by some members of a regiment that recently graduated from initiation. While the public has been debating this polarising subject and in the process adding to the confusion, the Attorney General has been quiet perhaps watching from the sidelines. Some felt that there is nothing wrong with the floggings especially when they have been sanctioned by a higher tribal authority. Others felt that the whole thing is out of step with the constitution.
