Section: Business News - The Ministry of Commerce is launching the Organic Hotels and Resorts Campaign to promote the use of natural ingredients and products in tourist accommodation on Samui and Pha-ngan Islands.

Deputy Permanent Secretary for Commerce, Ms Pimpaphan Charnsilp, stated that the ministry intends to encourage business operators to provide services based on organic resources such as herbs-derivative spa and organic food. Local communities could take part in the project by supplying fruits and vegetables from their organic farms to the hotels on the islands.
