An 18th century former residential home near Bath is to become the headquarters of a management consultancy firm.

The Wilsher Group, currently based in Corsham, is to move into Waterhouse at Monkton Combe.

The firm is a training, coaching and consultancy company which employs just under 20 people including associates. Among its directors is former Bath and England rugby player Matt Perry.

The building was marketed by agent Savills' development team on behalf of its owner, the Warrington Homes Charitable Trust.

The trust closed the home because of staff shortages in 2008 and it was put on the market for GBP2 million. …
