Taipei, 15 Jan (CNA) - The Central News Agency - Taiwan's national news agency - has launched a mobile phone news service in both Chinese and English to better serve the public.

Starting this month, up-to-date news and information about Taiwan will be easily accessible to mobile phones users via the CNA's new Web site http://m-cna.com.tw.

The information on the Web site can be accessed free of charge and is being made more concise to cater to the mobile phone format.

With the number of cell phones users in Taiwan approaching 25 million, more than the country's 23 million population, the CNA …
