Section: General News - The Chinese Communist Party and Government always attach great importance to the development of friendship and cooperation relations with Vietnam , stated Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Sun Quoqiang at a press conference in Hanoi on January 6.

The Ambassador spoke highly of this year's importance as the two countries celebrate their 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties.

The two countries' leaders agreed to hold numerous activities this year marking the event, including a trip to Vietnam by Chinese officials who studied and worked with the late President Ho Chi Minh, noted the Ambassador.
